The best
in the West.
Hue and Hide was born from a love of documenting life — real work, real land, real people, and the ordinary moments that become priceless with time.
After serving as a Marine and working as a builder, I found my way back to photography during one of the most transformative seasons of my life. What began with documenting my son’s first year became something bigger: a belief that everyone deserves to have their story witnessed and remembered.
Photography, for me, is about more than taking beautiful pictures. It’s about preserving what matters before it becomes a memory.

The moments worth remembering aren't always the ones that feel extraordinary while you're living them.
They're the dusty boots, early mornings, open fields, tired hands, quiet glances, and people you love most. The ordinary moments that become the ones you wish you could hold onto forever.
That's why Hue & Hide is rooted in photographing life as it really is — real work, real land, real people, and real stories.
No forced moments. No performance. Just photographs that feel like you and preserve what matters.
I use an honest, thoughtful approach to capture the connection between people and the land they inhabit — creating photographs that feel as real as the moments themselves.
With a background in the Marines, building, and life lived close to the land, I bring grit, intention, and an eye for the moments that often go unnoticed. From families and cowboys to ranches, animals, and small businesses, I create honest photographs that capture the character of the people and places I work with.
The best stories don't always happen in a studio. They unfold where life is actually being lived — on the ranch, in the field, at home, or wherever your story takes you. Wherever it is, I’ll meet you there, working with the landscape, light, and natural moments to create photographs that feel true to you.

Whether it’s a family, a ranch, a business, or simply a season of life you want to hold onto, I’d love to hear what you have in mind.
